Visa-free destinations: how to check your travel requirements
Where Mongolian passport holders can check official visa-free travel information, passport conditions and transit requirements.
Start with the official list
Consult Mongolia’s Consular Department page for countries Mongolian citizens can visit without a visa. Distinguish ordinary passports from official and diplomatic passports. Use the official links below to verify information instead of relying on an old social media list.
Check the details of your own trip
Identify your nationality, passport type, purpose of travel, length of stay and arrival date. Ask the destination’s embassy or immigration authority which conditions apply to tourism, study or work. Verify passport validity and any other requirements too.
Check transit separately
Review the requirements of transit countries and airports as well as your final destination. An airport change, baggage collection or a separate ticket may affect the conditions of your journey. Give the airline your full itinerary when asking for guidance.
Verify again before booking
Requirements can change, so check official information before buying a ticket and again before departure. This is a guide to verification, not a country-by-country eligibility list. Resolve uncertain cases with the relevant embassy before booking.
